The Academy of St Mary-le-Bow is thrilled to be joined once again by guest leader Alexandra Caldon from Britten Sinfonia for an unconducted performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, often referred to as the ‘Pastoral Symphony’. This iconic work, recognisable to many as the soundtrack to dancing unicorns in Disney’s 1940 Fantasia, will be paired with Mozart’s ever popular Clarinet Concerto, performed by acclaimed soloist Peter Sparks, Principal Clarinettist of both the English National Opera and the Aurora Orchestra.
